A logo designed by Callahan Senior Art Director, Dan Rood, has been selected to be included in LogoLounge Book 12. The Owl symbolmark designed for the medical industry, was chosen from nearly 42,000 logos reviewed by an international judging panel.
“Logo design is the ultimate problem-solving exercise. It takes effort to distill a complex idea into a simple mark with meaning,” says Rood.
Rood has had 10 logos selected to be published in LogoLounge and various publications.
“It always feels great to be recognized for something as creatively rewarding as logo and identity design. I call Dan Rood “The Doctor” because he’s a creative assassin in everything he does, but especially this kind of work. If you know him, you know that nothing can stop his artistic lifeforce,” stated Matt Slider, Associate Creative Director at Callahan.
