Callahan, a brand strategy and digital marketing agency, has promoted Shelly Deveney to director of operations/group account director, expanding its executive management team to six members. Deveney will help shape the future of Callahan as director of operations, in addition to retaining her current responsibilities as group account director on Elanco Animal Health.
“This promotion is a result of Shelly’s unwavering passion for the success of this agency and her undeniable leadership skills,” said Callahan CEO/President, Chris Marshall. “I’ve given her responsibilities above her so-called job title throughout her career, and then enjoyed watching her successfully rise to the challenge every time. She works really hard for the greater good of her clients, her team and the agency overall. She’s important to the future success of Callahan, and as such, I’m excited to welcome her to the executive team.”
“I love Callahan. The culture, the clients and the people inspire me every day,” said Deveney. “We have a very forward-thinking leadership team, and I’m humbled and thrilled to join such a strong group. I’m excited for the future.”
In the past year, Deveney helped devise a systematic method to ensure Callahan continues to evolve its capabilities and services to meet fast-changing marketing dynamics. This is highlighted, most recently, by the addition of data analytics services, which is quickly driving value to clients and growth for the agency.
Deveney was hired at Callahan as an account executive in 2006. She currently provides high-level strategic leadership for Elanco’s North American Parasiticides marketing portfolio. In her time on that business, Deveney has increasingly expanded the client relationship, and Callahan is now the agency of record for Elanco’s Global Parasiticides.
