Callahan’s business unit, Toyota CAPS (Creative and Print Services), was recognized by Toyota at its annual Indirect Procurement Shared Services Supplier Award Conference last week. The award conference is an annual event designed to recognize top-performing suppliers for Toyota Motor North America.
CAPS efforts to find, bid and increase spend across diversity suppliers, in addition to tracking and reporting that spend, was the catalyst for winning the award.
CAPS recently supported an RFP with 80 vendors, helping to increase Toyota’s diversity supply base by over 30%. CAPS also updated the bid process to include at least two diverse vendors in every bid, providing more opportunities to Toyota business partners.
