Demel was previously at PetSmart where she was senior director of merchandising & hardgoods, growing the category to $940 million in sales. Before PetSmart, she spent nine years at Payless ShoeSource, and left the company as director of planning and distribution in athletics.
Her retail strategy expertise—including retail strategy creation, assortment, merchandising, and pricing and promotions across brick and mortar and e-commerce channels—is an exciting arena for Callahan’s clients to capitalize on. Demel’s experience with buying, financial planning, forecasting, demand planning, online distribution planning, inventory management and space optimization benefits the Callahan clients looking to grow and maximize distribution.
